Romanian Election Time - December 9, 2012

Now with the 2012 Romanian Legislative Election one extraordinary figure comes back to me from the past: Ludwig von Mises.

Ludwig von Mises was one of the most elegant and brilliant mind of the 20 century. In these times of depression and political instability we should reflect more on his ideas and we should never forget that there is no freedom in the absence of free market. 

"There is no kind of freedom and liberty other than the kind which the market economy brings about. The market steers the capitalistic economy. It directs each individuals activities into those channels in which he best serves the wants of his fellow-men. The market alone puts the whole social system of private ownership of the means of production and free enterprise in order and provides it with sense and meaning."
